JILL FOOTLICK is a prolific independent film and television producer based in New York and President of her banner company, Grow Pictures. Grow Pictures develops and produces eclectic films with established and emerging filmmakers.

Most recently, Ms. Footlick was nominated for a Primetime Emmy, PGA and Independent Spirit awards for her work as Co-Executive Producer on SEVERANCE (AppleTV+) . The multi-nominated show  was created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller. Prior to that, she was the Producer on  LITTLE VOICE (AppleTV+), created by Grammy winner Sara Bareilles and Writer/Director Jessie Nelson and executive produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot. Footlick also produced the widely watched second season of TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN (Amazon). The show, starring John Krasinski, filmed in 4 countries and featured a multi-national cast and crew. Also, for Amazon, Footlick produced, THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR BOYS, based on the highly acclaimed book, which was executive produced by Bryan Cranston. She produced THE OA for Netflix which was created by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling and executive produced by Plan B Entertainment. She was the Producer on UNFORGETTABLE (Sony/A&E) and the Production Manager on ELEMENTARY (CBS) and DAREDEVIL (Marvel/Netflix).

After graduating from Northwestern University with a BA in Philosophy, Ms. Footlick began her film career as a Production Coordinator on films as diverse in story and budget as: HEAVY, BIG NIGHT, THE PEACEMAKER and CONSPIRACY THEORY. Ms. Footlick went on to produce multi award winning films such as Kimberly Peirce’s BOYS DON’T CRY and Kenneth Lonergan’s YOU CAN COUNT ON ME

Footlick executive produced GREETINGS FROM TIM BUCKLEY, starring Penn Badgley and Imogen Poots. The film, directed by Daniel Algrant, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was released by Tribeca Films and Focus Features International. Footlick was Executive Producer on THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE, written and directed by the award winning Rebecca Miller. The film stars Robin Wright, Keanu Reeves, Alan Arkin and Blake Lively. She also produced EMPIRE, directed by Franc Reyes, starring John Leguizamo, which was released by Universal Pictures. Re-teaming with writer/director Franc Reyes, she produced THE MINISTERS starring John Leguizamo and Harvey Keitel through her company, Grow Pictures.

For Focus Features, Ms. Footlick was Executive Producer of the film EVENING. Based on the novel by Susan Minot, EVENING was adapted for the screen by Michael Cunningham. The film stars Claire Danes, Vanessa Redgrave, Toni Collette, Natasha Richardson, Meryl Streep and Glenn Close.

Producing alongside writer/director Sue Kramer,  GRAY MATTERS starred Heather Graham, Tom Cavanagh, Bridget Moynahan, Alan Cumming, Molly Shannon and Sissy Spacek. It premiered at the Hamptons Film Festival and was chosen to be the closing night film at the 2007 Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Ms. Footlick produced Patrick Stettner’s THE NIGHT LISTENER for Miramax Films starring Robin Williams and Toni Colette. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and screened at the Berlin Film Festival.

Ms. Footlick is a member of the PGA, DGA and NYWIFT.
